SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Responsibilities: 
  • Help create and maintain a Chicago Twenty Something "personality" on social media through short-form videos and posts that engage our target audience.
  • You are the star of the show! We are looking for someone to be the face of our brand online - bring your personality, creativity, and content creation skills to spread the word about our events and brand on social media
  • Create and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
  • Capture photo and video content at live events, including behind-the-scenes footage, crowd reactions, interviews, and event highlights
  • Shoot and edit short-form videos and graphics optimized for social media
  • Develop content calendars and schedule posts across multiple event brands and platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, viral sounds, memes, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content
  • The ideal candidate is a jack of all trades! We are seeking a team player who is teachable and has great communication and problem solving skills to assist with a variety of marketing-related tasks


Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Meta Business Suite
  • Excellent photography, videography, and mobile content creation skills
  • Experience using editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar software
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging captions, compelling hooks and calls to action
  • Comfortable being on camera
  • Great time and project management skills 
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for effective communication both internal and externally
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a bonus but NOT REQUIRED
  • Bonus but NOT REQUIRED - if you are from the Chicagoland area, live in the city, attended a Big10 school and/or were involved in greek life
